Montclair Township Animal Shelter - Cat Volunteer Application
Cat Care:  Minimum age is 16. 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!  In order to volunteer, applicants are required to first attend a two hour volunteer orientation session. Orientation sessions are held every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the shelter building located at 77 North Willow Street, Montclair. No reservations are required. Please fill out the form below and attend one upcoming orientation session on a date that works for you. 

Cat care volunteers work each morning before the shelter opens to the public, performing critical tasks to keep our cats healthy and happy while they are at the shelter. Volunteers will help sterilizing cat cages, washing food bowls and litter boxes, sweeping and mopping floors, etc. There will be opportunity to interact with the cats while they are out of their cages. You will be required to attend orientation/training before volunteering.

I acknowledge that I must complete the relevant training and orientation prior to volunteering. I understand that I must sign a Waiver and Confidentiality Agreement if I am over 18.  All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a Waiver and Confidentiality Agreement.
