As we wrap up our 50th anniversary, we look towards the future and how we can get one step closer to ending domestic violence. Domestic violence does not discriminate. It happens, regardless of sexual orientation, age, gender, ethnic background, or economic levels. At the end of the day, it is a human rights issue and we all need to stand together to make our city a safer place to live. This year, we invite women and men to join us as we take a stand against domestic violence.
We are opening up the tournament and inviting men to join us as we take a stand against domestic violence. We believe that men have a vital role to play in ending violence against women and girls. Our aim is to increase men’s knowledge about issues surrounding domestic and sexual violence. In this way, we empower them with tools to become allies who speak out against domestic violence and make informed decisions when they witness sexism, homophobia, and violence in their day-to-day lives. We hope you'll join us.
