The Graduate Student Employees Union at Stony Brook University recently won the fight to have graduate student employee fees be covered by their university! https://twitter.com/sbufeestrike/status/1321537154049318912?s=20 

UB GSEU, along with other SUNY campuses, wants to achieve the same for our grad student employees across the board. We should not have to pay to be able to work!

We plan to pressure UB administration and seek legislation from New York State to eliminate the unbelievable amounts that grad students have to pay in fees every year. The information you provide here will be incredibly useful in building a case to present to university admin and legislators. Only UB GSEU will have access to your response - we will keep responses anonymous from the university and the state.
