NCS-AAPT Call for Papers - Fall 2019
The 24th annual Fall Meeting of the NCS-AAPT meeting will be held at NC School of Science and Math on Nov. 15-16, 2019.

Rules and Preparation Guidelines

Who may submit an abstract — The privilege of contributing papers is restricted to:

>NCS-AAPT, SACS-AAPT, SPS and other AAPT members in good standing;
>Nonmembers whose completed membership applications and payments for the first year's dues are submitted before the appropriate deadline;
>Nonmembers whose abstracts are sponsored by members. These abstracts must include a footnote with the statement: "Sponsored by (member's name)."

Contributed papers on all physics and astronomy teaching topics, physics outreach, and undergraduate research are encouraged. Talks will be limited to 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions. The exact schedule will be dependent on the number of talks submitted. Abstracts for workshop sessions are also being accepted at this time.

Policy — In accordance with the AAPT Constitution and policy, authors are requested to be sensitive to, and show respect for, ethnic, cultural, religious, and sexual diversity. For example, you should not use language that suggests that physicists are exclusively male. Additionally, AAPT's official measurement system is the International System of Units (SI). We recommend that our members and those writing for our publications make every effort to use the SI system exclusively.

The abstract submission deadline is October 28, 2019.
