New Gardener Application
Thanks for your interest in joining the Grow Food Northampton Organic Community Garden. Completing this form automatically puts you on the waitlist for a garden plot. Plots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. As plots become available, the Garden Manager contact you to update your status. Due to increased interest in gardening, there has been a high volume of applications for garden plots. We do our best to accommodate all applicants.

Our plot fee structure reflects our commitment to enable food and land access for all. To build a strong garden community, we welcome gardeners of varying abilities, incomes, and cultural backgrounds. We prioritize BIPOC gardeners, gardeners from systematically marginalized communities, and those experiencing economic hardship. So that money isn’t a barrier to growing food, we offer a sliding fee scale and allow gardeners from those communities to choose a fee that works for them. Gardeners are invoiced after they are assigned to a plot.         
  • Resilient Fees are $0 to $35.00
  • Sustainer Fees are $35 - 50.00
  • Abundant Fees are $60 and up

There are 2 sizes of plots in the garden. Full plots are 20'X20'. Half plots are 20'X10 feet. We do our best to assign the preferred plot size, but cannot guarantee availability. Please indicate your preference below. *
Accommodations. Let us know if you need accommodations for a disability, or if would like a plot close to the play area, or close to the road. We cannot guarantee that all needs can be met, but we will do our best.
