The President and members of the Rotary Club of Gawler would like to invite you to become a Friend of Rotary.

As a Friend of Rotary you will be:
• Introduced  to the Rotary organisation.
• Involved in club projects which happen on local, national and global stage.
• Assist with the various activities undertaken by the club, namely fund raising, organisational
        and hands-on projects.

The Club welcomes this assistance so that it can increase its level of service to the community.
• Enjoy fellowship and fun with the members of the Rotary

Club Involvement Criteria:
• Friends of Rotary (FOR) are not registered as members of Rotary International,
        nor subjected to the normal process of nomination and scrutiny.
• FOR are not required to pay International or District subscriptions and are not expected to pay
        joining fees or Gawler Rotary Club annual dues.
• FOR are responsible only for Individual costs levied for meetings and events attended
• FOR are not eligible for election to the Rotary Board but may be eligible for non-elected
        positions within the club.
• No attendance requirements are imposed on FOR members
• FOR and their families are welcome to attend all events and dinner meetings of the club
        and to participate in all projects of the club.  
• FOR have no voting rights, but are welcome to contribute to discussions on club matters.
• FOR are required to hold compulsory child protection or any other permit as legally required
        when working on certain projects
• FOR are provided with a name badge identifying them at meetings and projects.
• Club correspondence and notifications will be sent to all FOR where applicable.
• There is no expectation of FOR to become full members and their involvement in club activities
        would be at the level which suits their individual circumstances and abilities.
• FOR will be required to supply to the club all necessary contact details to enable ongoing
        correspondence and contact when necessary. This information will be for the sole use of
         the Rotary Club and will not be made available to third parties.
