Funder Survey: 2026 Ecosystem Snapshot

Your responses to this survey contribute to the storytelling of the birth justice field in this current moment with special attention to the movement of capital. Your input will help us build upon our 2023 landscape analysis to identify current trends, gaps, and the overall conditions of the birth justice ecosystem and its capital. Findings from this survey will be shared at the Birth Equity Summit in Detroit this October and contribute to the creation of an ecosystem map and database, as we aim to increase ecosystem visibility and support stronger alignment between philanthropic investment and community priorities.  

Deadline: This survey should take about 25-30 minutes to complete. Should you find yourself requiring more time, please reach out to us directly and we can accommodate. The survey will close on Friday, September 18th.

Privacy: Please note survey responses will not be shared externally and all data will be anonymized when presented as findings. Furthermore, all data will be stored securely.

What Comes Next?: As part of the next phase of FBJE’s Ecosystem Intelligence work, we plan to invite you to share a listing of your current and recent grantee partners working across maternal health, birth equity, and birth justice. You do not need to provide this information as part of this survey. Additional guidance and an opportunity to continue your participation will be shared at a later date. FBJE will provide additional information on data use, privacy, and what information may be included in the ecosystem database before requesting grantee-level information.
