GROUP GUIDELINES:The facilitators and members of the group are not experts and diagnostic and treatment recommendations should be done with a medical professional. The goal of the ADHD PEI Parent Support group is growth, acceptance and mutual respect. The group strives to balance healthy venting with  constructive discussion and positive reinforcement. While navigating the systems and environments not designed for people with ADHD can be frustrating, it is the aim of ADHD PEI to form and maintain positive partnerships and communications with the professionals working in these systems. This includes the areas of education, healthcare, criminal justice systems, as well as other organizations in the public, private, and not-for profit sectors. *
