The Network of Women (NoW) is seeking Subcommittee members in 2023 to help bring our events to life and create invaluable opportunities for our members. If you are keen to eventually progress into a more senior position within the NoW executive, this is an excellent opportunity for you to get involved. You will also gain relevant experience in running a society (and develop some fantastic friendships along the way).

The available roles are as follows:
1. Marketing Director (x1)
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable developing strategic marketing plans and is able to work under pressure. You should have a basic understanding of managing social media channels (e.g Instagram, Facebook, Linkedlin) and will be required to regularly update the NOW website. You will also be responsible for coordinating promotions across various channels, creating NOW's member newsletter and delegate tasks to various subcommittee members. You should show the ability to multitask, liaise with other executive members to meet deadlines and brainstorm creative ways to strengthen our engagement to members through social media channels.
1. Marketing Design Assistant (x1)
This role is suited to someone who is social media and design-savvy. You should have a basic understanding of creating designs for social media posts (or be willing to learn). Your primary role will be supporting our Marketing Directors in the preparation and design of all our social media, including creating event banners for Facebook, driving multi-platform social media campaigns and brainstorming creative new ways to engage our members. You should have a basic knowledge of web design (e.g. Canva), be detail-oriented, and able to work flexibly to meet deadlines.
2. Marketing Photography Assistant (x1)
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys and has experience working with a camera. You will be assisting our Marketing Directors in attending professional events throughout the year to take photos that will be used as promotional material for NoW. Having your own camera is highly preferred; and experience in editing photos (e.g. with Photoshop) is preferred, but not necessary. You will also have the opportunity to assist the marketing team with other design aspects when required (design, social media, contents), gaining the opportunity to work in a variety of marketing fields.
4. Events Assistant (x2)
This role is suited to someone who is quick-thinking and highly organised. Assistants will be supporting our Events Directors in the planning and implementation of our anticipated events calendar this year. This will include emailing contacts, arranging catering, photography, collecting merchandise for goody bags, etc. If you are interested in a hands-on role that will enable you to develop excellent event-planning and execution skills, this is an excellent opportunity to gain some practical experience within a fun and supportive team.
