Shadefest 2018 will be held at Pegasus Farm in Elkins, WV. Our dates for volunteer shifts this year are August 10 - 12, and each volunteer will be required to work two 5 hour shifts during that time frame. All volunteers must check in no later than 5:00pm on August 9th, 2018 unless prior arrangements are made.
All volunteers will receive:
1. Free official Shadefest merchandise upon arrival.2. Access to clean water, electricity, and showers on site.3. Access to the private, volunteer-only camping area.4. Hugs if requested.
Our venue is requiring a $20 camping fee for ALL attendees - volunteers, organizers, and patrons. While we built this fee into the GA ticket price, unfortunately for you and me all volunteers, staff, and vendors MUST pay $20 at the gate upon arrival. However, no deposit will be required to volunteer at the event, and in addition to free official Shadefest merchandise, this year all volunteers will be provided with a private campground situated away from the general attendees.
