Extended Care is a before and after school care program available to HCCS and Tiny Dragons students on all regular school days. Extended Care Program begins on the first day of school and ends on the last day of school. Before school care starts at 7:30 a.m. and after school care from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m.
Students must be enrolled to participate.

Once enrolled, billing for Extended Care continues month to month until the office receives a 30-day advance notice of schedule changes or withdrawal. Changes or withdrawal will become effective on the first day of the month following a 30-day notice period, no partial month refund.

The annual (school year) cost of the program is evenly divided over 9 monthly payments (December and June are ½ of the regular monthly fee); therefore, the monthly fee remains constant regardless of the number of school days that month. No credit will be given for absences, illness, vacation, inclement weather, or any school closures.

Payments: For ACH families, monthly fees will be automatically withdrawn via ACH. For cash/check families, payment is due upon receipt of invoice.

Late pickup from HCCS Driveline stop time 3:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. will result in a late fee of $5; late pickup after 3:45 p.m. will result in a late fee of $30.

Late pickup from Aftercare after 5:30 p.m. will result in a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes, after which $30 will apply.

The monthly fee is due on the 1st of each month, with the first payment due on September 1, 2025, and the final payment due on June 1, 2026.

The Extended Care Program is a nut free program. ALL SNACKS BROUGHT FROM HOME MUST BE NUT AND PEANUT FREE when eating in Extended Care.

All students attending Extended Care will be expected to follow the same behavior guidelines and rules as during the school day. The Extended Care Program uses Wisdom Seekers, a HCCS school-wide program based on the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, to ensure a positive, respectful environment (refer to Wisdom Seeker Handbook in the back of the HCCS family handbook for more specifics.) Results of problem behavior correction are maintained separately from HCCS student records.
