The NYG&B is partnering with organizations across New York State to preserve their at-risk historical documents and make them more accessible. To help preserve important records and improve access for people conducting New York family history research, it is imperative that these records are digitized and made available online.  

If your organization has at-risk records and would like to participate, please submit the project application below. If you have questions about filling out this application or are unsure how to answer a specific section, please contact DigitizeNY@nygbs.org.

This form takes 5-15 minutes to complete, depending on familiarity with the materials you are recommending for preservation.
