Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Time:
    8am - 4pm Ham Cram for Technician level (we will take a couple breaks and have time for lunch)
    4pm - 5pm Exam administered by FCC examiners

Cost
    - Class is free
    - $15 to take the exam (paid to the examiners)
        (students under 18, exam fee is only $5)
    - $35 FCC license fee, good for 10 years
        (students under 18, license fee is paid by ARRL)

Location
El Camino Health - Los Gatos Hospital
Conference Rooms 2 & 3
Please park at 825 Pollard Rd, Los Gatos and not in the hospital parking lots.

Things to Bring
  - You must have an FCC Registration Number (FRN) to take the exam: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do
  - One government-issued photo ID. Or two IDs such as birth certificate, school ID, library card, etc.
  - $15 exact cash or check
  - Optional: laptop, calculator, pencil


If you're interested in getting a General or Amateur Extra license, unfortunately there is no cram session. You may come for the exam portion only. Please sign up so the examiners know to expect you.
