Math Club Information
WCMS Math Club’s purpose to arouse student curiosity in mathematics by solving various types of problems and build confidence. Mathematics is one tool used to train one’s logical thinking to help solve real world situations in every day life. WCMS math Club will make this process fun, enjoyable, while working through the complexities of problems that students might face. Members will compete individually and as teams (4 persons per team), and is open to all 6th-8th grade students.

WCMS math Club will meet twice a month; every 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. We will meet from 3:00-4:00 pm. Please be at school to pick up your student at 3:55 pm. A schedule will be provided at the first meeting. Applications need to be filled out, completed and turned in to Mr. J. Fullerton (8th grade hall), by October 7th, 2016. This will allow us to have our first meeting as a club on October 13th, 2016. Parents/Guardians are more than welcome to attend!

Due to WCMS Math Club being a part of the National MathCounts Foundation (https://www.mathcounts.org), there will be a $10 fee for members. This fee will cover the cost of registering our club nationally, supplies, and after school snacks.

If there are any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me at jack.fullerton@white.k12.ga.us. I am very excited to bring this to WCMS and think our kids will do amazing things!
