Requirements for MembershipAny legal or natural person who is active in the field of local, digital services/offers with profit intentions can become a member.
Membership Categories
Corporate / Business / Brand
Specialised / Start-Ups / Consultancies / Agencies
The application for membership will be reviewed by the Executive Board regarding the membership category, and if necessary, a different category assignment will be made. The applicant can withdraw the membership application within 14 calendar days of becoming aware of the new category allocation assigned by the Executive Board.
Membership Fees
The annual membership fees are charged in accordance with the membership
fee regulations (see below).
The member must issue the Association with a direct debit authorisation for the
membership fee. The fee is due in advance on 10 January of the year (credited to the association's account).
Members will receive a membership fee invoice with the date of January of the
membership year.
The annual membership fees in the year of joining are charged
annually/semi-annually.
Contributions are charged in euros, excluding VAT.
The cancellation period is 6 months to the end of the year.
Contribution RegulationsCorporate / Business / Brand
Applies to companies and groups with a turnover of over €1 million.
Regional DACH / North America / Europe / Middle East / Asia / Japan: €2,700.
€500 million - €1 billion: 100%.
< €500 million: 75%.
Specialised / Start-Ups / Consulting / Agencies
Applies to service providers and specialised companies with a core focus on location-based services.
Regional North America / Europe / Middle East / Asia / Japan: €1,000.
€10 million: 100%.
< €10 million: 75%.
The sales categorisation is based on the sales revenue from the previous year of invoicing.
If no turnover categorisation is available by 1 November of a year, the member is automatically classified in the next higher turnover category.
