MARCH 5 will receive
$50 in coop. The winner of the display contest will receive a
$500 prize (no social media platform required).
HOW TO ENTER AND WIN!
- Fill out the form below by February 26th
- Post about Indie Press Month on your social channels during March
- Tag us on Instagram @indiepubs
- Tag the indie presses your display features (optional but advisable!)
- The IPC and participating publishers will amplify your posts
- Don’t have social? That’s ok! You can still enter by submitting (see below)
- Submit photos/videos of your display to Display Contest Submission Form by Sunday, March 16, by 11:59 pm.
- What do we mean by displays and what "counts?"
- Window displays! Table displays! Instagram posts! BookToks! Landing page features! We want to see your creativity... on display!
- Make sure 40% of the titles are from our Indie Press Month Playlist.

- March 25th: Get ready to win! Winners and Runners Up will be announced in Shelf Awareness.

January and February: Stores sign up, member publishers informed about participating stores
February 23-26: Winter Institute, last chance for bookstore sign-up
March 5: Display contest launch and coordinated social media posting
- Participating store list will be featured in media/social media by Shelf Awareness, Independent Publishers Caucus, the Independent Bookseller, and Bookshop.org, and will be included on March 5 press release to all media outlets. A great opportunity to be featured in a national media campaign!
- Indie Press Month Marketing Assets for social media and in-store displays (includes printable shelf talkers and flyers)
March (rolling) : weekly IPC social posts featuring bookstore displays and IPM titles
March 25: Winners announced in Shelf Awareness; press release to all media
