Dr Kwang-Soo Kim, PhD, is Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory at McLean Hospital. He also holds the Masson Family Endowed Scholar position at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kim pioneered the first FDA-approved autologous cell therapy for Parkinson’s disease, reported in The New England Journal of Medicine (2020), and is currently leading a Phase I clinical trial. In parallel, he is developing novel neuroprotective therapeutics targeting disease mechanisms, with candidates advancing through clinical evaluation.
