Welcome to the registration and waiver for the Rainbow Routes Association & Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury's Walk about "Climate Resilient Neighbourhoods" on November 15th. What is a climate resilient neighbourhood? Explore this question on a guided walk through Uptown and the Donovan. Led by architect Kai Wood Mah, and Cortney St. Jean, Chair of the Uptown CAN. Stop for free cookies at Beard’s Coffee Bar & Bakery along the way!
Registering helps us organize and ensures you get last minute notifications such as cancellation due to extreme weather conditions or other changes. You will not receive a confirmation email immediately after registering, only the day before the hike.
When: Saturday, November 15th, 10:00 - 12:00 PM (please arrive 10 minutes early)
Meeting place: Greater Sudbury Public Library, Main Branch, 74 Mackenzie St.
* Transit: GOVA bus #26 or #27. Take the bus free to travel to and from the event. Upon boarding, tell the driver you are attending the Neighborhood for Nature, Caring Communities event to receive a free ride. Take your bus to the transit terminal and walk from there, or take bus #26 or #27 to get off right at the library.
Terrain/Trail Surface: Neighbourhood Streets and sidewalks
Length: 4-5 km
Dress: Dress for the weather, wear good walking shoes, bring bottled water and please register.
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Difficulty: Easy with some mild inclines

Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
