The scholarship covers one week of camp, July 14-19, 2019 and roundtrip airfar to Huntsville International airport, as well as roundtrip group transportation from Huntsville International airport to Space Camp. Travel dates may include July 13-20, 2019. Student must be available to travel and attend camp during these dates. The value of the scholarship is approximately $3,000.
***If student is selected to receive a TMG Space Camp scholarship, their family will need to make a $300 deposit at the time of their acceptance of our scholarship. The $300 deposit will be returned after the student attends Space Camp and submits an acceptable video presentation of their experience at Space Camp using their own notes, photos and videos taken during their attendance at Space Camp. ****The video project that is due after attending camp requires students to present what they learned at Space Camp to a group of a minimal 20 students. The presentation needs to be recorded and should be 6 minutes long (minimal) and show the entire audience at some point of the video , be clear and easy to hear and show the entire presentation clearly. We will send guidelines for the expectations to all students after they are accepted.

* Must live in the continental U.S. (Lower 48 states)
* Must be able to attend Space Camp the week of July 14-19, 2019
* Have never attended Space Camp USA in Huntsville, Alabama
* Parents must sign a photo/video release form if selected.
* Must be between the age of 15-17 as of July 1, 2019.
Part 2: Student will need to create and submit a short video (under 3 minutes) introducing themselves and explaining why STEM education and/or space exploration are important to the future of humankind. Student should also cover why they think they will benefit from attending Space Camp. Videos will need to be emailed to email@example.com with the student's full name and words "Space Camp Scholarship Application 2019" in Subject line of the email as well as in the title of the video. We recommend uploading your video to Google Drive and sending a shareable link to firstname.lastname@example.org - any email or video not correctly titled will not be accepted and application will not be completed.

Final project video submissions are due October 15, 2019 - no exceptions.
***If you are selected to receive a scholarship you will be required to give a presentation about your experience at Space Camp to a group of at least 20 students. You may present to a class, youth group or other community group to a minimal of 20 people. The presentation needs to be given to students under the age of 18. Your $300 deposit will be held until you complete this requirement after attending Space Camp.
