Collaboration and Other Support- Hyde Park & Kenwood Interfaith Council
This form is to make a formal request to have the Hyde Park & Kenwood Interfaith Council to collaborate/partner with, or provide support for an already existing project/program or to assist in facilitating a new one. All congregations, religious and spiritual bodies, organizations, and non-profit groups focusing their work on the South Side of Chicago that share the concerns and values of the HPKIFC are encouraged to contact us. This could include, but is not limited to material donations, volunteer support, outreach/advertising, a mutual event, and more! There is no guarantee that we will be able to provide the support or collaboration as requested, but it is our goal to assist in the flourishing of our communities as best as we are able. If you are only looking for financial support, please complete our "Grant Request Form" also listed on our website, for the potential of $500-$2000 support annually.

The HPKIFC Bylaws state: "Our purpose is to provide effective channels for cooperative expression of our shared concern for the wellbeing of the communities in which our member organizations are situated. This cooperative expression includes coming together in intentional partnership to care for those in need in our communities; taking action in relation to social injustice, inequities, and other issues of mutual concern; engaging in regular programming which draws members of diverse communities together; and gathering the wider community together at times of celebration or concern. " This form is supposed to assist us in carrying out that mission by partnering with yours!

Acknowledgements and Communications
The Interfaith Council meets monthly and will discuss all requests at each meeting as we are able. There is potential that more urgent requests will also be met in a timely manner based upon the date requested above. Particularly requests for ongoing partnership and collaboration for a project or program will likely entail a more involved discussion. We may, and likely will ask that you come to one of our monthly meetings to get to know you better, and for you to even more fully present this idea to the community and begin to discern how we can work together. However, please note that though we will try our best to provide support and partner with you, there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide the support or collaboration as requested or at all. Decisions as to if and how the HPKIFC will be able to collaborate/provide support will be dependent on our physical/personnel resources, the extent to which the project aligns with our values and mission, and our various other existing commitments. If you feel as though your request has been denied unjustly, particularly as it relates to bias, prejudice, or stemming from any other harmful basis, we encourage you to email us at hpkinterfaithcouncil@gmail.com so that our officers can discuss this concern with you and seek to address it as best we can, and make amends where possible and appropriate.
