Never Stop Moving - Diversity Initiative
Never Stop Moving knows there is a lack of diversity in the rock climbing community and wants this to change. We are dedicated to improving minority representation in the outdoor community and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all members. We want YOU to be highlighted and share your diverse qualities to make others feel empowered and welcome. How do you represent the climbing community?
Have you attended an NSM event?
If you would like to, share how you contribute to diversity in the NSM community.
Would you be interested in attending a LGBT+ specific climbing night hosted by NSM?
I would need to learn more.
Are there any other diversity events you would consider attending? If so, what kind of events?
Which of the following will improve NSM's role in increasing visibility of minorities in climbing, or in making minorities feel welcome at events?
Host more specific events for other minorites than all women (specify below if you want)
Use more inclusive language on the website/facebook/emails
Highlighting the diversity of members in a public forum
Reaching out to a specific community for new members (specify below if you want)
Diversity-focused informational events (like speakers, etc)
I think doing any of these things would be off-putting.
Do you have any other feedback or ideas regarding diversity?
If you don't mind answering further questions, provide your email!
