Swoop RFP Stage 1: Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire
Swoop has launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for airports in North and Central America and the Caribbean via the Route Exchange platform.

The airline is looking for strategic partners that share an entrepreneurial, consumer-driven mindset to work together on boosting air travel recovery while continuing to provide access to affordable airfares. Swoop will be looking for innovative proposals with financial (and tax) incentives, revenue guarantees, fee waivers, marketing support and ways of bringing additional economic activity to local communities. The airline, which operated its first flights on June 20, 2018, remains confident in the long-term prospects for its ULCC business model and future growth.

Airports interested in submitting proposals are now invited to take part in Stage 1 of the RFP process: the Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ).

Completing this form confirms your interest in responding to the RFP once it has been issued. It will enable verification that you have the operational ability to operate a successful new route. It also acts as an expression of serious interest to take part in Stage 2.

Airports that successfully meet Swoop's qualification parameters will move forward to Stage 2. In Stage 2, Swoop will issue its full RFP document for response. Route Exchange members will receive the full RFP document in advance of non-members.

Both airports that qualify and those that fail to do so will be informed shortly after the close of stage 1. The closing date for submitting is July 3, 2020.

Please note that the information collected will only be used for the purpose of the RFP.
