Tony C. Johnson presents Journey Through Recovery, a 30-minute solo work born from his powerful journey as a cancer survivor. This piece traces the path from treatment to healing, weaving together moments of struggle, resilience, and renewal. Through movement, Tony reflects on the challenges of recovery—counseling, physical therapy, and rebuilding after injury—while also celebrating the strength that allows him to continue as a teacher, choreographer, and dancer. Journey Through Recovery is both a personal story and a universal meditation on perseverance, transformation, and the enduring spirit of dance.
