The GTA school board is not meeting the requirements for board member qualifications as stipulated by the current GTA charter bylaws, which state "The Board members shall be selected based upon educational experience, business experience, experiences working with and on a board of directors, commitment to the school's philosophy, and, as indicated, as necessary, to include parent representation....Additionally, it is intended that the Board shall include at least one professional educator who, preferably, shall have school administrative experience" (Section 4, "Qualifications").
