If there's a class that is no longer accepting students, please register to be added to our waiting list. The confirmation email will also let you know about our new drop off and pick up policies that will protect everyone who comes to visit the Warehouse. Please be sure to fill out a new form for every class you want to take part in.

In this class you can learn how to create DIY photography with high quality results - using a DSLR-camera or your phone. Instructor Robert Stokowy provides the fundamental techniques of photography, lighting, and post-production to let students explore their creative ideas. Students can learn how to set up a home studio, use lighting, and special effects to make their photo project look awesome and professional.

LIVE SOUND 101 (NEW!)

Come in and learn how to mix sound for bands - live and in the studio! Sound Engineer Robert Stokowy is going to teach students the fundamentals on how microphones, cables, mixers, and loudspeakers and other equipment work. Students can learn first hand how to use equipment, record and amplify instruments/voices, and adjust the sound in a mix. This class is super hands on, creative, practical, and fun!

Ready to find your voice? Join media pro Robert Stokowy in this hands-on podcasting class where you'll learn everything from audio storytelling to studio production. You'll develop interview skills, record episodes in our professional booth, and master editing techniques using industry-standard tools. By graduation, you'll have your own published podcast episode and the confidence to keep creating. No experience needed - just bring your curiosity!

BEATZ 101 (NEW!)

Join instructors Artha and Jabez for this beginner-friendly music production class where you'll learn the fundamentals of beat-making, song arrangement, and audio recording using Ableton Live. DJ 101 with DJ Flo Fader at Warehouse 505 is the perfect opportunity for students who are interested in learning the basics of DJing. In this course, students will learn how to mix, scratch and beat match using industry standard DJ equipment. With the guidance of DJ Flo Fader, a skilled DJ and experienced instructor, students will explore the different genres of music and learn the techniques used by professional DJs to create seamless transitions between tracks. This course is designed to give students a solid foundation in DJing while allowing them to experiment with their own style and creativity. By the end of the course, students will have a basic understanding of the art of DJing and the skills to create their own unique mixes.

DJ 201 with DJ Flo Fader at Warehouse 505 is an advanced course designed for students who have completed DJ 101 or have prior DJing experience. The course provides students with the opportunity to deepen their skills in beat matching, song selection, and crowd interaction. Students will learn advanced mixing techniques, explore different genres of music, and work with professional DJ equipment. The course also covers the business side of DJing, such as marketing, networking, and branding. By the end of the course, students will have the skills and knowledge to confidently DJ at events and pursue a career in the field.

In this advanced class, students ages 13-20 will dive deeper into the world of screen printing, learning to create complex designs and multicolor prints. This course is designed for those who have already completed Screen Print 101 or have consulted with the instructor beforehand. Get ready to elevate your screen printing skills and prepare for larger print runs!

MURAL ARTS
Cloudface and RJ Harris

Mural Arts Class with Cloudface and RJ at Warehouse 505 is an exciting opportunity for young artists to learn the art of mural painting from a professional muralist. Through a combination of hands-on instruction and collaborative projects, students will learn the techniques and skills necessary to create large-scale works of public art. They will also have the opportunity to explore different styles and approaches to mural painting, as well as learn about the history and cultural significance of public art. By the end of the class, students will have the skills and confidence to create their own mural and contribute to the vibrant public art scene in Albuquerque.

MODERN BAND LAB 101
Ken Johnson

Modern Band Lab 101 gives students the chance to learn instruments (guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals) while playing popular songs in a real band setting. Led by musician Ken Johnson, this program teaches collaboration, performance skills, and musical fundamentals through weekly rehearsals. Perfect for beginners, it builds confidence and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment, culminating in a live showcase. Discover the thrill of making music with others!

MODERN BAND LAB Bands 1-5 (Student must be placed by Ken Johnson)

If you don't see the class you want to take as a choice, it means that it is full. Choose WAITLISTED and in the next question let us know what class you want to waitlisted for. We will let you know as soon as a spot opens up and will have a chance to register early the following semester if you don't get into the class if not. Thanks.
