Per California Education Code Section 39831.5(2), all students Pre-K through 8th grade shall receive instruction on school bus safety, including emergency evacuations.

These drills will be scheduled during the first day during morning school bus arrivals and can take several minutes. The drills will also be coordinated with Nutrition Services to ensure students will have access to breakfast meals. In addition, we are notifying school office staff to ensure all student attendance is recorded appropriately if affected by this event.
