About the YFU Virtual Exchange Initiative:
YFU’s Third Space Semester encourages open dialogue among youth worldwide, empowering participants to develop global competencies and 21st century skills.

Students, alumni, and young professionals aged 14-35 active in youth organizations, secondary schools and higher education institutes are enrolled into age appropriate multi-country virtual classrooms for approximately three months. Supported by trained facilitators and Youth Ambassadors, participants share personal narratives via text, photo, and video to combat stereotypes and build international connections. A core program with scaffolding exercises equip students to explore culture, conflict and current events, and prepare for projects that foster deeper understanding of global people and issues. https://www.yfuusa.org/virtual-exchange
