Abortion advocates stereotype pro-lifers as older religious (Christian) conservative straight white men.

To be clear: we want older religious conservative straight white men to be pro-life. We want everyone to be pro-life. If you fit this description and oppose abortion, we're happy to have you on our team.

The issue is that abortion advocates want the public to believe it is only older religious conservative straight white men who are pro-life, and if those six adjectives don't specifically describe you, you need not be concerned with opposing abortion.

Therefore, Secular Pro-Life defines "non-traditional" pro-lifers as those who oppose abortion but deviate from the above description: younger, secular, liberal, queer, people of color, and women.
