Dear Faculty,

We have heard your request for transparency and going forward, ERM proposal requests will be managed in Request Tracker (RT).  It is the same system that the School of Engineering is using in Engineering Computing Services, Facilities, and Purchasing & Reimbursements.  The roles and responsibilities of PIs and ERM Analysts remain the same.  Please be aware of the following when requesting an ERM proposal. 

New ERM Proposal Request Form:

Assignment of Analyst: 

Once an ERM Pre-Award Analyst has been assigned, you will receive an automated email from ermpre@eng.uci.edu.  RT emails, to and from ermpre@eng.uci.edu, must include the assigned ticket number in the subject line (i.e: “[ERM #118588]”) to capture all communication related to the proposal, within the RT ticket.

***Please do not send emails to the ermpre@eng.uci.edu without a ticket number as that will generate additional unwanted RT tickets.   

Subaward Proposals:

Each subaward proposal on a UCI project will be processed on a sub-ticket within RT and linked to the parent UCI project.  Please keep communication for each subaward separate.

Please also bookmark this link to the RT - Faculty Dashboard.  There you can view the status of your ERM proposal request and drill down into the RT ticket for detailed communication.  You must be logged into the campus VPN to access the link.
