Innisfil Seed Library Online Seed Request Form

The Innisfil Seed Library is a volunteer-run program located at the Cookstown and Lakeshore Branches of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library. Although the Innisfil Seed Library is temporarily inaccessible this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Innisfil/Cookstown residents may borrow free-of-charge a limited quantity of donated vegetable, herb and flower seeds by mail this 5th season!

How does the sign-out & mail request for seeds work?
1. You must be an Innisfil/Cookstown resident. Limit of two seed request forms per person or household this season.
2. You may request up to six seed packets of vegetables and herbs, and up to six seed packets of flowers from the online catalogue following this page. No duplicates of varieties.
3. Packages are prepared by one person, and Canada Post is experiencing slower delivery at this time. It may take up to two weeks to receive your seeds.
4. While there is no cost to borrowing seeds, you are encouraged to grow, save and donate some of your seeds back to the Innisfil Seed Library at the end of the season when it's possible to do so. Stay tuned for drop off details. Find seed growing and saving resources at
