Lois and her late husband Bill have always had a love for the ministry at Evergreen Lutheran High School. Ever since the school's inception in 1978 Lois would volunteer time playing organ at the Dupont location. Both have been supporting Evergreen and its ministry ever since. They have seen the Lord's hand many times in their lives through their 68 years of marriage and want to encourage others to learn about their Savior as well. They believe that Christian Education at Evergreen is so important to prepare them for their future. Bill and Lois are setting up this scholarship to support those students who desire to continue from Evergreen in pursuit of serving in ministry. This scholarship was established in 2017 with a large gift from Lois Lobeda. The scholarship is awarded annually to one boy and/or girl entering grades 10, 11, or 12 who show a career interest in ministry
