PYJI talent show
The PYJI Talent show will be held Thursday October 17th at 4:00 PM at the Stockton Civic Auditorium. We will feature the amazing talents of system impacted youth from Fathers & Families of San Joaquin, Sow a Seed Community Foundation, and Community Partnerships for Families of San Joaquin. The theme of the talent show is “The Beautiful Struggle, from Pain to Power”, which echoes the struggle system impacted youth face, and how they have overcome this struggle in order to become who they were meant to be before the shame, pain, trauma, and drama. We welcome you to join us for a day to celebrate art and creative expression as a form of healing and liberation for our youth. In the midst of community violence and inter-generational cycles of violence, our youth are a symbol of hope and represent the future of Stockton - a city of promise and resilience. We would like to invite everyone to participate in the event.
