Makers Making Change (www.makersmakingchange.com) is a new, non-profit initiative by the Neil Squire Society, funded by the Government of Canada, the Google Foundation, and the Vancouver Foundation. We’re committed to creating an international community of makers who support people with disabilities within their communities by creating accessibility solutions.

The purpose of this survey is to gather information on assistive switches from end users, caregivers, and assistive technology professionals. We would like to know more about the assistive switches you currently use and if you have ideas for switches that are no longer available or don't exist yet.

We're also interested if you are aware of, or have used open-source assistive switches. Open-source switches are input devices made from free plans using readily available components and 3D printed or laser cut parts.

The results of this survey will be used to develop and/or improve open-source assistive switch designs.
