[Registration] Eureka Interest Group: Living with Biotechnology
The Eureka Interest Group organises bi-weekly video sharing and game sessions to educate its members about Biotechnology and how it can be used to improve lives. Through Microsoft Teams online video conferencing, participants will learn more about the following topics in the coming weeks:
21 July - Urban Barns: Farming of the future
Be introduced to Urban Agrotechnology and learn how food can be grown indoors to improve resource efficacy and agricultural yield.
4 August - Monoclonal antibodies in medicine
Learn what antibodies do and how these therapeutic proteins can be produced in a Biologics Manufacturing plant.
18 August – How CRISPR lets you edit DNA
Discover the world of genetic engineering by modifying DNA sequences in an organism. The CRISPR technology allows researchers to correct genetic defects, treat diseases, and improve the characteristics of both crops and livestock.
