Technology Alberta TechBOOST Program - Company Application Form

TechBOOST (Technology Business, Optimization, Operations, Scaleup, and Talent) is a pan-Albertan initiative partnering to foster the growth of tech-based Small-to-Medium-sized businesses (SMB). Access the talent, knowledge, and community you need to continue scaling your technology business - with support to build your in-house HR capacity, work-integrated learning (WIL) subsidies, and strategic networking.

The Technology Alberta TechBOOST program is comprised of 3 components that companies will participate in:
  • Business Advisory: Technology Alberta and Company review of Company Needs and Opportunities.
  • HRCatalyst: An HR Program created specifically to build your in-house HR capacity, teaching your team to be self-sufficient.*
  • FIRST Jobs: TechBOOST: A work-integrated learning (WIL) program that allows Alberta tech SMBs to hire an Alberta post-secondary student/recent graduate for a work term 
If eligible, qualifying companies will be contacted by email with additional information. In an effort to provide support to as many companies as possible (as financially supported student stipends are in limited supply), priority will be given to those companies that have not previously been financially supported through the FIRST Jobs WIL Program.
