Water testing update (12/31/24)
The State Public Health Laboratory has temporarily suspended water chemistry testing. Refer to our website (https://cdphe.colorado.gov/dwlabs) for a list of other accredited laboratories that may be able to accept your samples. Before sending samples to another lab, please ensure you have checked their sample submission criteria, as it may be different from the State Lab. If you have any questions, contact us at cdphe_labcoordinators@state.co.us.
The State Lab can still perform E. Coli testing in water. Use this form to order the appropriate bottles.
In observation of state holidays, the State Lab will not be accepting water samples on:
