Federal regulations require the University to establish and apply reasonable standards of satisfactory progress for the purpose of receiving Federal Financial Aid. Students who are on Academic Probation at the completion of the Fall 2023 term are not making satisfactory progress, and until it is confirmed that the student has returned to Good Academic Standing (based on Spring 2024 grades), any summer Federal Financial Aid will not be disbursed.

Students must submit a copy of their Dean’s Permission Letter and proof of summer registration with their Summer 2024 ITE form. You can email copies of all related documents to eaquino@usfca.edu. The USF School of Law Financial Aid Office will then submit a Consortium Agreement to the Host School, which must be completed and returned BEFORE any financial aid for summer, is processed. Once the completed Consortium Agreement is received, students will be notified by the USF School of Law Financial Aid Office and instructed at that time.

I am not on Academic Probation. If you are currently on Academic Probation and plan on utilizing Federal Financial Aid for Summer 2024, you will NOT be eligible for summer aid until you return to Good Academic Standing

If I become academically disqualified after the Spring 2024 term, I understand that any Federal Financial Aid awarded to me for summer will be canceled, and that I will be responsible for all summer session tuition and fees through my own personal funds including housing & materials fees if I remain enrolled in any USF Summer Programs including Summer International Externship programs.

I have completed and submitted a 2023-24 FAFSA application https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

I enrolled or intend to enroll in a minimum of three (3) units for the entire summer term. If I drop below three units, I am not entitled to receive any Federal Aid, thus any Federal Aid received will be canceled and I will be responsible for all costs associated with my summer program. These costs would have to be paid through a private loan or my own personal funds.
