CLLARO Capitol Fellowship Program (CFP) 2024 Digital Application
Thank you for your interest in the Capitol Fellowship Program!

The CFP runs from the first day of the Colorado Legislative Session (early January) through the end of May 2024. Fellows are required to complete a total of 20 hours of work per week during the program (in-person with their host office: legislator, non-profit, state agency, or lobbying firm), including weekly Friday meetings with CLLARO from 11AM-2PM. If a Fellow misses more than three Friday meetings, they will be asked to withdraw from the program. CLLARO also has the right to terminate a Fellow from the program if necessary.

The purpose of the Capitol Fellowship Program is to increase the level of representation of our Latino community in all branches of government.  We aim to encourage public service and expose individuals considering this career track with direct participation and hands-on learning. We also strive to close gaps in civic engagement, professional & personal development. Each chosen participant will receive a monthly stipend to help with expenses incurred while in the program.

Please complete the questions below and submit the required documents to 1) Resume; 2) One letter of recommendation; 4) Your transcripts with minimum GPA 3.0 (if student or recent grad); 5) Research paper or another quality academic writing paper sample of at least three pages long (students and recent grads).

Please read instructions carefully. Applications are due by Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 11:59 PM. All qualified applicants will be interviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants who do not follow instructions will not be considered. Should you have questions, please contact

All application responses are confidential, some questions are required by funders for data collecting purposes, and do not impact your application negatively.
