We have closed the seed ordering for this season. We donated over 8,000 seed packages to the community in 2021.
Stay tuned to our newsletters as we may be able to open our seed library to the public again!!
California Giant Zinnias
Very large, 4-5-inch double flowers. This California heirloom dates back to 1919. The plants bloom all season and make superb cut flowers. This mix contains cherry, orange, pink, purple, scarlet, yellow and white.
These spectacular tall Central American natives bloom non-stop from midsummer, with multitudes of star shaped, 3 to 4 inch red-orange flowers on densely branching velvety stems. Maturing 4 to 6 feet high, tithonia plants are brilliant welcoming beacons for both Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies.
Sunflower "Hopi Black Dye"
A traditional dye crop developed and selected for generations by Hopi farmers who used the dark black seeds to produce a purple or gray dye for wool and baskets. Grows to 6-12’ tall depending on fertility and spacing. Produces a large main flower at the top of the stalk up to 12” across. 65 days to flower and 100 days to mature seeds.
