The Journal of the Georgia Public Health Association (jGPHA) peer reviewers play a critical role in the quality of the jGPHA by conducting critical and thorough reviews of articles that cut across a broad range of methodologies, designs, and disciplines. Peer reviewers are interested in advancing a career in public health research and practice (e.g., health management and administration, epidemiology, behavioral health, health education, environmental and occupational health, biostatistics) and other related disciplines.

Please note that jGPHA asks that all reviewers provide evidence of training on the topic of protection of human research participants. NIH offers a free training course titled “Protecting Human Research Participants” available through its’ Office of Extramural Research. Other similar courses, such as those provided through one's institution or via CITI (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative) are acceptable. Evidence of completion, along with any questions, should be directed to the Editor.
