Οι DRAG perfrormers της γειτονιάς σας βρίσκονται in DISTRESS με τη σκηνή του Drag στη Θεσσαλονίκη και για αυτό σας προσκαλούν να γίνετε κι εσείς κομμάτι αυτής της σκηνής! Ένα αυτοοργανωμένο Drag Show όπου κάθε queer άτομο, ανεξάρτητα από την εμπειρία του, τις καταβολές του ή την αισθητική του, μπορεί να ανέβει στο stage και να μοιραστεί την τέχνη του μαζί μας.
Θέλετε Lip-Sync; Θέλετε χορό; Τραγούδι; Ποίηση; Ακροβατική; Στριπ σόου; Είμαστε ανοιχτές στα πάντα!
Η εκδήλωση διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο της ιδέας να σπάσουμε την ιεραρχία που δημιουργεί η σκηνή μεταξύ θεατών και Performer. Επιθυμούμε να μοιραστεί η σκηνή σε νέα άτομα που θέλουν να πειραματιστούν με την Performance, το Drag αλλά ακόμα και με τα ίδια τους τα όρια.
Δεν θέλουμε να αναπτυχθεί ανταγωνιστικό κλίμα, αλλά να εστιάσουμε στην διασκέδαση. Θέλουμε η σκηνή να γίνει ένας ασφαλής χώρος για κάθε άτομο, χωρίς να κριθεί το ρούχο, το Μακιγιάζ ή το ταλέντο του.
Στη σκηνή μπορείτε να κάνετε ο, τι θέλετε. Επιθυμία μας ωστόσο είναι κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης να αποφευχθεί κάθε περίπτωση πρόκλησης ή αναπαραγωγής προβληματικών ή τραυματικών σκηνικών. Συνεπώς τονίζουμε πως θα θέλαμε να αποφευχθεί κάθε μορφή οικειοποίησης κουλτούρας που δεν μας ανήκει, κάθε απεικόνιση που μπορεί να αποτελέσει πυροδότηση σε τραύματα ατόμων (εκτός αν αναφερθεί trigger warning), κάθε εξουσιαστική ή κακοποιητική συμπεριφορά προς τα παρευρισκόμενα άτομα και τα συνδιαγωνιζόμενα άτομα.
Μπορείτε να απευθυνθείτε στα άτομα της διοργάνωσης για όποια απορία έχετε, έτσι ώστε να προετοιμαστείτε κατάλληλα.

The DRAG performers in your neighborhood are in DISTRESS with the Drag scene in Thessaloniki and that's why they invite you to become a part of this scene too! A self-organized Drag Show where any queer person, regardless of experience, background or aesthetic, can take the stage and share their art with us.
DO you Want to Lip-Sync? Do you want to dance? Sing; Read poetry; Acrobatics? A strip show? We are open to everything!
The event is organized within the framework of the idea of breaking the hierarchy created by the stage between spectators and Performers. We want to share the scene with new people who want to experiment with Performance, Drag and even with their own limits.
We don't want a competitive atmosphere to develop, but to focus on fun. We want the stage to become a safe space for every person, regardless of their clothing, make-up or talent.
On stage you can do whatever you want. However, it is our desire during the event to avoid any case of causing or reproducing problematic or traumatic scenes. Therefore, we emphasize that we would like to avoid any form of appropriation of a culture that does not belong to us, any depiction that can be a trigger to people's traumas (unless a trigger warning is mentioned), any domineering or abusive behavior towards the people present and the competing people.
