Slate Valley Unified Union School District has participated in the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for many years. We have provided free, nutritious meals to children involved in local camps and the community during these summer months. We’re planning for Summer 2026, and your input is essential to help us continue meeting the needs of our community.
Please take a few moments to complete this anonymous survey about the SFSP non-congregate program.
What is the SFSP non-congregate program?
Free multi-day meal boxes for children 18 and under (includes breakfast and lunch)
14 meals provided at one time (7 breakfasts and 7 lunches)
Pickup available by parents or guardians - children do not need to be present.
No application or income requirements
We would like to reach families that do not have their children enrolled in the Castleton Recreation Camp or the Boys and Girls Club camp at Castleton Elementary School. If your child will be attending one of these programs, they will continue to receive free summer meals, as they have in the past.
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. Your input will help us make this program as accessible and convenient as possible for Slate Valley families. Please complete one survey per household.
