Studio Criteria

Creatives are assessed according to the following criteria:

  • A commitment to an ongoing creative practice.

  • How well their practice is suited to the available space.

  • Demonstration of a reasonable commitment to using their space.

  • How a creative studio will benefit the applicant’s creative practice and wellbeing.

  • A willingness to make an active contribution to the Level 5 Creative Studios community.

  • Standard Space -  2 windows wide (£150 pm)
  • Large Space - 3 windows wide (£225 pm)
  • Desk Space - in shared area (£60 pm)
  • Other spaces may be available, including extra space or sharing spaces, please let us know in the "Other" section below, including who you want to share with and any requirements ie, next to a end wall.

We'd love to hear more about your work and how you approach it. You might want to share: what kind of work you do (mediums, formats, themes etc.); what ideas, questions or stories your work explores; what materials, tools or processes you use; how your practice has developed and/or where it is heading; any current projects or collaborations; what you are hoping to focus on or experimental with if you have a studio space. As above, these prompts are only suggestions, so please feel free to share in your own way.

For example, three work days per week; evenings and weekends. It is helpful if you are able to tell us times of day you might be present, but we are aware this is not always possible and schedules change.
