Prime Mover Production Pitch

We are always eager to hear of new projects which amplify marginalized voices (BIPOC, Gender Minority, LGBTQ2S+, d/Deaf, disabled, people with disabilities, Mad, Neurodiverse, and more)

Prime Mover Theatre Company does not produce works independently, but rather actively supports artists through the development of the work.  Once the work is market ready, Prime Mover Theatre Company acts as a broker, helping to get the work produced on stages across Canada.

Writers and directors can pitch scripts for us to consider, using this portal. Directors may pitch plays that they would like to be attached to but do not own the rights to, provided they have a strong idea those rights are actually available.

If you are a director pitching someone else’s play, you are encouraged to also upload a cover letter detailing your artistic vision for the piece

Playwrights may submit their own work, or do so through an agent.

**NOTE:  Only links to external sites (Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive etc) are accepted - you can provide up to three in addition to your one page pitch and script and or written materials at the bottom of this form.  Do not email materials to our staff unless they have been requested - unsolicited emails will be erased without review**
