Join an upcoming program for educators from UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center! Explore the science of empathy, humility, forgiveness, and hope to develop skills for bridging differences in schools. You will engage with three self-paced learning modules, implement selected practices in your school setting, and join a small group of educators from around the world in a synchronous online community of practice to discuss the module content, your implementation experiences, learnings, and wonderings with one another.

When you join our Winter/Spring 2024 cohort, you will:
  • Do a deep dive into the empathy, humility, and forgiveness.
  • Move at your own pace through a rich resource bank of materials.
  • Join up to 7 virtual communities of practice.
  • Gain regular support and personal guidance from our community in both asynchronous and synchronous settings.
To ensure accessibility for all, this is a donation-based program. Space is limited.

Community One: Tuesday 3:30-5 pm PT

January 14 (Orientation), January 28*, February 11, February 25*, March 11, March 25*, April 8

Community Two: Thursday 9-10:30 am PT

January 15 (Orientation), January 29*, February 12, February 26*, March 12, March 26*, April 9

*NOTE: This optional second meeting of each month will take a deeper dive into the topic and provide additional time for Q&A about your specific projects.
