Mosquito Marsh Mission
Event Address: Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve. Meet us at the gate!
contact us if there are any additional questions

Event Summary : Join us every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm to participate in a local research project led by the Roselab at UCSD. Event will begin with a brief summary of the labs research and the role of mosquitoes in our ecosystem. This will be followed by field activities on the Marsh. Volunteers will get the chance to take environmental measurements, identify mosquito larvae, collect environmental samples for DNA sequencing and explore the Kendall-Frost Marsh!
Bring: a water bottle, clothes that can get dirty (the marsh is very muddy) and sunblock/hat. Boots can be provided.
NOTE: We are limited to 5 volunteers on the marsh at any time, so please let us know if your plans change and you are no longer attending that way we can open it up to additional volunteers.
