BUS AGREEMENT: 2020-21 PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY
Thank you for submitting a Bus Agreement. Per the School District of Onalaska website when you signed up:
DEADLINE: All Bus Agreements must be submitted by midnight Wednesday to be considered for the following Monday. As long as we have seat assignments, so many unusual schedules, and need to take extra precautions, we have a Midnight Wednesday deadline for the following Monday. That roster stays in place until the following Monday.
ALERT!!! Due to the extraordinary circumstances we face this school year routes are being designed with extra care for students' safety. Therefore your child may not have busing on the first day of in-person learning. You will be notified of Bus Information only once the student(s) are routed. Please call the Transportation Department at 608-783-5489 if you have questions.
You will receive another email when your child has been routed.

--- If your child is assigned bus transportation please understand the School Bus Safety Procedures and Expectations listed on our website are required in order to maintain the safety of all riders, and the timeliness of our routes. Please visit
--- Each child needs to have their own, separate agreement on file.
--- All forms will be reviewed for ridership eligibility; you will be notified before the start of school if your child is eligible to ride, route number, and times. Completing this form is not a guarantee of ridership. Agreements with the School District of Onalaska regarding school, address, grade, Open Enrollment, Boundary Waivers, etc. will be verified for accuracy.
WHAT IS MY BUS INFORMATION?
--- You will be notified regarding your child's transportation in the weeks before the new school year starts.
DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR:
--- Allow for 10 minutes on either side of the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. At the beginning of the school year we ask that you be patient as everyone is getting used to the bus system, some for the first time.
--- New Bus Agreement forms for permanent bus service changes must be submitted one week prior to when you need them to begin. We are unable to make temporary changes to bus routes.
--- WE REQUIRE AT LEAST 3 SCHOOL DAYS NOTICE FOR NEW OR CHANGED BUS INFORMATION ONCE THE SCHOOL YEAR HAS STARTED.
--- Please understand that because of allergy issues, food and drink may not be consumed on the bus.
FOR PRE-K CHILDREN
--- We require that you or your daycare professional are visibly present when the bus comes to drop off your child. You don't have to meet your child at the curb but we do need to see an adult present before we dismiss your child from the bus. If no one is visibly present to meet the child for drop-off, the child will be brought back to school to wait for a parent to come pick him or her up.
--- Pre-K children using daycare at Pre-K Partner Sites will not be offered busing to any District Schools.
