SCJSHS Prearranged Absence/Family Vacation Form
Stark County Schools recognize that on occasion students may miss school for extenuating circumstances, other than illness or a death in the immediate family.  Pre-arranged absences must be submitted to ensure work can be provided ahead of the absence. This form is intended to notify the school of an absence. Please note that vacation absences will be noted in Skyward, but still count against your child's total absences for the year. Please follow the guidelines below:

1. The Request for Pre-Arranged Absence form is completed and returned to the office at least 48 hours prior to the absence (available on school website or in office).
2. All work/assignments sent with the student is due ON THE DAY of the return.
3. Tests covering assignments completed during the period of absence must be taken on the FIRST DAY the student returns.

Due to the changing nature of the school work, providing all homework in advance may not be possible.
