MOTORCYCLE RACING IS DANGEROUS and persons attending motor racing events do so entirely at their own risk. It is a condition of this Accreditation that all persons having a connection with the promotion and/or conduct of the meeting, including the owners of the land, the riders, owners of the vehicles and the passengers in the vehicles are absolved from all liability arising out of accidents causing damage or personal injury except where due care and attention have not been exercised.
It is acknowledged that Photographers play an important role in motorcycle sport, and each Photographer must be permitted to carry out his or her work in the best possible conditions.Photographers are not exempt from having to respect general safety rules. In general, this should not interfere with their ability to perform their duties. However, if a choice has to be made between carrying out their work and being exposed to an unacceptable level of risk, safety must always take precedence.
Photographers must supply and wear a High Visibility vest while inside the track fence.
If, in the opinion of an Official, a photographer is deemed to be in an area of danger, they will be asked to move to a safe location. If this instruction is not complied with, the matter will be considered by the Clerk of Course of the event, who may direct the person concerned to move to a safe place. If this instruction is again ignored, the photographer will be removed from the track area.
Failure to follow instructions from Race Officials whilst on course may result in immediate revocation of your accreditation and ejection from the property. Misconduct is taken seriously and in addition to revocation of your accreditation, inappropriate behavior will be taken into consideration in future accreditation applications.
