Japan Past & Present (JPP) is planning to put together a team of librarians and information specialists to collaborate on various Japan Studies-related projects for our digital platform, which will host a wide variety of scholarly resources. This work may entail meetings, consultations with Japan Studies specialists and university/library staff, evaluating digital projects on Japan-related materials, and more.

Japan Past & Present (JPP)は、多種多様な学術資料を保持するデジタル・プラットフォームを構築するための様々な日本研究関連プロジェクトに協力していく、図書館司書と情報スペシャリストによるチーム作りを検討しています。この業務には会議、日本研究の専門家や大学図書館職員との協議、日本に関連する資料のデジタルプロジェクトに対する評価などが含まれることがあります。

Ideally, JPP would like to compensate all collaborators for their time. We would be very grateful if you could help us learn more about restrictions on work that are (or are not) applicable to some library services specialists. This information will help us craft our advertisement for the position and better understand your needs.
